We advocate an unfussy, do-it-yourself attitude towards hair. Hair should be fun and help you feel good about yourself, and not be a chore. We pride ourselves on providing high-quality, fashion-forward styles that are fairly priced.
Lucky 13 was started in 2006 on a shoestring budget with a staff of three, and since then has grown to include over ten stylists and multiple assistants. We consistently rank first or runner-up in local reader polls for best salons in Columbus, frequently beating out the "big guys." We were voted Best Hair Salon in Columbus 2009 by Columbus Alive!
Lucky 13 is a Paul Mitchell Focus Salon. Paul Mitchell offers high-quality products at reasonable prices, and provides excellent continuing education for our stylists. As the only major haircare line that is still independently owned, Paul Mitchell also donates signifigantly to many environmental and humanitarian causes.
Lucky 13 prides ourselves on being good citizens. Our philosophy is to treat people fairly, with kindness and respect: both employees and clients. In addition, we recycle whenever possible, donate goods and services to local charities, and are active in the gay and lesbian community.
